EVA Foam Tape (ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer foam tape) is a tape product made from EVA foam, coated on one or both sides with pressure-sensitive adhesive, and typically with a release liner (or film) as a protective layer.
Its core components include three parts:
Base: Foam made from EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) through a foaming process. It features lightweight, elastic, chemical resistance, and excellent insulation properties. Thickness can range from 0.3mm to tens of millimeters depending on the application.
Adhesive: Typically a pressure-sensitive adhesive (such as acrylic adhesive or rubber-based adhesive) is used. It has excellent adhesion and holding power, and can adhere to a variety of materials (such as metal, plastic, glass, wood, and ceramics) at room temperature with slight pressure.
Protective Layer: Release liner or film covering the adhesive surface protects the adhesive from contamination and can be peeled off directly for use. EVA Foam Tape combines the cushioning, sealing, and shock-absorbing properties of EVA foam with the bonding characteristics of pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is widely used in electronics, automobiles, construction, home furnishings and other fields. It can achieve functions such as fixing, sealing, shockproofing, and filling gaps. It is an adhesive material that is both practical and flexible.
