Double Sided Tissue Tape is a flexible double coated pressure sensitive tape developed for efficient bonding between lightweight materials. A tissue paper carrier is coated with adhesive on both sides and combined with a release liner to create a thin easy to process bonding material for industrial manufacturing converting and assembly.
Compared with thicker mounting solutions the tissue based construction helps maintain a low profile between joined components while providing better handling than unsupported adhesive films. Its flexibility also allows the adhesive layer to follow the contours of many flat slightly curved or mildly textured substrates making it suitable for applications where both thinness and surface contact are important.
The tape can be integrated into manual assembly lines as well as slitting laminating rewinding and die cutting processes. Industrial users can convert jumbo rolls into narrow rolls sheets adhesive pads frames strips or other custom shapes for downstream manufacturing.
Our standard Double Sided Tissue Tape is available in 1020mm and 1240mm wide jumbo rolls with a length of 1000m and thickness options from 50U to 200U. According to the current product specification the tape offers short term heat resistance of approximately 80 Degrees Celsius making it suitable for a broad range of general indoor industrial applications.

A: What Is Double Sided Tissue Tape
Q: Double Sided Tissue Tape is a double coated pressure sensitive adhesive tape with tissue paper positioned between two adhesive layers. A release liner protects one exposed adhesive surface before use. The tissue carrier improves handling while keeping the finished bond thin and flexible.
A: Where Is Double Sided Tissue Tape Commonly Used
Q: It is commonly considered for paper converting foam lamination textile bonding die cutting lightweight mounting packaging assembly panel attachment splicing and general industrial manufacturing.
A: Why Use A Tissue Carrier Instead Of An Unsupported Adhesive Film
Q: The tissue layer provides additional dimensional support which can make the tape easier to handle laminate slit and die cut. Carrier based double coated tapes can therefore be advantageous when the adhesive must be converted into precise rolls sheets or custom shapes.
A: Can Double Sided Tissue Tape Be Used For Foam Pads And Gaskets
Q: Yes. The tape can be laminated to compatible foam felt or gasket materials before die cutting to create self adhesive components. Actual bonding performance should be verified with the specific foam or gasket formulation because surface characteristics can vary.
A: Is Double Sided Tissue Tape Suitable For Paper And Cardboard
Q: It can be suitable for many paper and paperboard applications including joining mounting end tabbing display assembly and selected carton converting operations. Comparable industrial tissue tape products are used for fabric to cardboard bonding and chipboard mailer closure.
A: Can Double Sided Tissue Tape Be Used For Textile Lamination
Q: Yes for compatible materials. The flexible tissue construction is suitable for selected textile fabric felt leather and other flexible substrate lamination applications. The actual adhesion level depends on surface texture fiber structure coating and contamination.
A: Is Double Sided Tissue Tape Easy To Die Cut
Q: Tissue carrier constructions are commonly selected for converting because the carrier helps stabilize the adhesive during die cutting and laminating. The final processing performance still depends on adhesive thickness liner type cutting equipment tooling and production speed.
A: What Sizes Of Double Sided Tissue Tape Are Available
Q: The current jumbo roll options include 1020mm x 1000m and 1240mm x 1000m with thickness choices ranging from 50U to 200U. These master roll formats can be further slit rewound or converted according to customer requirements.
A: What Is The Heat Resistance Of This Double Sided Tissue Tape
Q: The available product information specifies short term temperature resistance of approximately 80 Degrees Celsius. Continuous service temperature is not stated in the current technical information so buyers with long term heat exposure requirements should conduct application testing.
A: Can Double Sided Tissue Tape Be Used On Plastic Surfaces
Q: It may bond effectively to compatible plastic substrates but performance depends strongly on the surface energy and chemical composition of the plastic. Testing is particularly important for low surface energy plastics where a specialized adhesive formulation may be required.
A: Can Double Sided Tissue Tape Be Supplied As Custom Die Cut Parts
Q: Jumbo roll material can be processed by converters into narrow rolls sheets pads strips frames rings and other customized adhesive shapes. The exact converting capability depends on equipment tooling liner construction and finished part tolerances.
A: How Should A Buyer Select The Right Double Sided Tissue Tape
Q: Important factors include substrate type surface roughness required thickness bonding area service temperature expected load application method and converting process. For B2B projects buyers should provide substrate samples or detailed material specifications whenever possible so the tape can be evaluated under realistic conditions.
